Jill M. Briscoe was raised in Northampton, Pennsylvania. She attended Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Political Science and minors in both Spanish and English.

Jill continued her education at the Appalachian School of Law in Grundy, Virginia. While in law school, she was a senior editor of her law review, The Appalachian Journal of Law, and became a Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteer where she realized her passion for family law. Jill graduated cum laude in May of 2014 with her Juris Doctor. She relocated to Kentucky for familial purposes and was admitted to the Kentucky bar in October of 2014.
Shortly thereafter, she became the staff attorney for the Honorable Judge Lisa Hart Morgan, Family Court Judge of the 14th Judicial District. During her two years with the Honorable Judge Lisa Hart Morgan, she gained vital knowledge and experience in all aspects of family law. Such knowledge and experience allows Jill to assist and advocate for individuals in areas of family law including but not limited to divorce, custody, timesharing and child support.
Jill is an active member of the Kentucky Bar Association and Fayette County Bar Association, where she has previously served a co-chair of the Family Law Section. Jill’s work has been recognized by her peers and she was recently named to the 2021 Kentucky and Ohio Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” list.
